Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Level 2 Resits - when and where?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi guys, I recently sat my Level 2 this Easter and unfortunately wasn't successful in passing my Tech (solely on my longs Sad ) and as a result I've a few questions regarding resits which you lot might be able to help me with!

Currently the dates for resitting the L2 tech with BASI are at the end of July and November this year. If I was to resit and pass the November course, do you think it would be possible for me to find work next season? Otherwise my only other option (As I currently see) would be to take the July course and have to take a week out of my Interrailing me and the girlfriend currently have planned Puzzled

Thanks in advance!

@xsax, that's not the only option...
On my L2 there were 3 guys who had done it previously and failed the tech (but passed the teach). They chose to do the 2 week course again, but the trainer didn't require them to particpate in the teaching assessments or written test (he set them other activities to do to develop their tech).
Perhaps that might not work for you in terms of time or cost, but if it does maybe an option?

@xsax, most important thing for you is to find time to develop your skiing before you do it again.

There were quite a lot of opportunities for level 2s cropping up through last season so if you passed in November I think you would find something.

Also maybe consider the performance course before you resit.
