Not so sure I'd have been so keen to get as close to the gulley as the girl in the blue when it first came down. That must be a whole alpine bowl or face that has flushed.

Yup, I'd have been straight up to an area with trees which had not been previously scoured by avi's or floods.

Indeed, if the mud they were standing on gave way they'd be gonners.
