Is your spelling supposed to be ironic?
Yes I've been and no its not, but pleasant enough.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hehe damned spelling correctors, eh
It's a nice ski area, with a different vibe perhaps from that of the famous holiday destinations in the Alps. (You could say the same about the Pyrenees as a whole, in fact.)
All this Best in the Wold, Top Ten stuff is just marketing bs of course. My best might be radically different from yours. But Baquiera-Beret does offer a nice overall package, and naturally, being the Pyrenees, you have the mountain to yourself more often than not. The biggest downside is that you need a car if you want to avoid the uninspiring resort village itself. (It's the valley villages and town which add the value to the skiing.)
It's had a few mentions on sH before; do a search if interested.

A lovely resort. A quick search on here will throw up quite a few trip reports and info.

Just a note for the more mature skier. The daily cost of a lift pass here for those over 70 is 3 euros.
