Snow at the top of Schattberg and Zwölferkogel in Saalbach-hinterglemm today too, and a quick check on the Bergfex snow forecast suggests snowfall across the mountain peaks from St Anton in the west to Schladming in the east.

We also skied down to this hut on the 10th June on the WC piste existing post season snow.

Its been dumping down here the last 2 days, if anyone is about Scarpa and myself will have a leisurely ski over on Schladming on Sunday, there are only 4 lifts working but we will jostle for a place, its bound to be quite busy.
Dress code is Fartbags....lets get this season started!

Very cold today but what awesome conditions! I cant remember a better start to the season, Skied Schladming again today and it was absolutely deserted.
If anyone wants a cheeky pre season blast really now is the time to do it, Zauchensee and Reiteralm are both opening a week early so this Friday, I guess most of the other resorts will be following suit, they have had the guns going full on day and night
