Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know where I can buy a floor standing ski rack for 5-6 pairs of skis in the UK ?

I have seen them on US sites but they don't ship to UK .

Thanks

Try some of the shops which have closed down recently. Selling off their fixtures & fittings. See the other threads.

The ones that are available are either offered by ski manufacturers for their retailers to purchase from their merchandising range or from servicing machine manufacturers as part of their workshop offering.

Koralp specialise in ski storage and boot dryers/storage equipment for rental companies and they have an online store for their more consumer end products:

However all are very expensive for what they are so I made my own.

wall mounted garden tool bracket with a bit of mat on the floor if you're really previous about your tails.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Why not just use a couple shelf brackets and some pipe insulation for wall hung or fill a heavy base container with cut waste water pipe of the correct diameter and height for your skis.

sounds about right. I'm not previous about my tails - and have lots of pairs of skis tesselated into a ski locker which isn't big enough for them all.

Thanks to all for the feedback and @spyderjon for the Koralp link .
As you say they are expensive for what they are so I think I will just make my own from wood.
