Poster: A snowHead

Booked my flights so looking at accommodation now
Ive been looking at Hotel Antares .It seems to tick most of the boxes ,Enough rooms for our party of 14+,Flexible on the days you arrive/depart and releasable priced and its about 150m walk to the Ciampinoi Lifts
But would i be better of staying near the Dantercëpies lifts as there seems to be a easy blue run down to Ciampinoi lifts if needed .The other way round seem a slog up the hill to Dantercëpies. or is there a Easy option from Ciampino upto Dantercëpies
thanks

from the Antares walk to the 'crystal bridge' and take the cosatbella lift and ski down to the Dantercepies, or walk to the bottom of the nursery lift (nives) and take the drags up to the main Dantercepies lift - a walk but not uphill...!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@wasley, More like a 250m uphill walk from Antares to Ciampinoi, I know I would have to be carrying my Mrs skis for that so would be looking for somewhere closer.

So do I, but I don't expect anybody else to carry my skis.

We use the Hotel Astor. It's 50m flat to the first nursery drag which leads directly on to Dantercepies, or left turn back down to Ciampinoi via a light/turnstyle operated road crossing. If you have nervous skiers in the group, a Ciampinoi kick off may be a bit of a challenge, but yes, Costa Bella is a good bail out option.
Give Doris a shout at the Astor, she's an accommodating lass.

End up booking an apartment in residence Antares..It was only £210 each for 5 days for a superior apartment which i thought was cheap considering all the facilities the hotel has .
Looking at the maps and info from here im going to hire skis+locker near the cosatbella lift .Then i can have a easy walk up to the shop the morning and go diect on the cosatbella lift and ski down to Dantercepies or hop across the road to Ciampinoi...All looks very easy on Goole maps ??

Stayed in Selva back in January a bit out of town. We hired a ski locker at Selva ski schule offices which was activated by your ski pass. Then had the option of heading in either direction with walk over the road to Ciampinoi or to Dantercepies by the cosatbella lift as described above. Worked really well for us.
I'm actually heading back in a few weeks to see selva in the summer and staying at Antares for three nights
