Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chalet Food - anyone use it?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi folks

Organizing self catering holiday for about 20 of us in March to Alpe d'Huez. Came across chaletfood.com and it looks like it could save me a lot of hassle especially on the booze side of things.

Has anyone used it before?
Is it reliable for delivery times / generally?

Are they good value against ski resort supermarket prices?

It lists one proviso that where a product they quote is not available on the day they buy your goods, they will buy a similar product which may be more expensive an will then obviously charge you for it. Amongst other stuff, I am probably going to buy 20-30 bottles of cheap plonk @ 1.60 euros each (this is clearly a classy trip!! snowHead )(and the next cheapest vino is about 4 euros), if this were to occur, i would be hit for the bones of an extra 100 euro which would be upsetting!! Anyone have any experience with this kind of issue??

Any help from you knowledgeable lot appreciated!!

Used them in arc1800 last year, just got the essentilals in as we were arriving late.

Thought them very good and effiecient,we had a long delay due to traffic and they were happy to come out when we eventually arrived.

Would thought they'd be a good idea to bulk buy the booze for the week, they gave us a local number when we booked,i'm sure you can call them to explain your preference,ie no cheap plonk, don't bother
