Have tested a 'no wax' base recently & extensively. The Jury is still out imo. Let's put it this way: When a shop inadvertently waxed it there was an improvement in glide.
Disclaimers: It may well not have been this exact same base material, constant development means that innovations only get better, and others apparently have a different opinion to me.

To be honest... I haven't waxed (or sharpened the edges etc) a single pair of my skis since December 2013, and... They all still ski just fine.

I thought that too, the eyebrows and underarm hair don't look natural to me. The hair on the legs looks natural. However, the way it's growing in several different directions indicates to me that the model normally waxes or epilates her legs. So, not much there seems 'au naturel!

Well if it is a choice between the naked lady or Mr Miyagi with his " wax on wax off " I think the naked lady wins
