Poster: A snowHead

Just got back yesterday from Chamonix, after my 1st week skiing on my new Fischer RX8's. They are an absolutely fantastic ski. Conditions weren't fantastic over there, but even my brother commented about how good the edge hold was on them, even on the icy bits.
These ski's want to go fast, and excel at chopping through uneven crud without feeling remotely unstable. They love to be in a carve on long sweeping turns, and have helped me progress a hell of a lot this week, after being a bit concerned that they might have been too much ski for me. I only got the 165's in them, and I am 5'11" and 17 1/2 stone, and was pleased I never went any longer, as they seem to have rockets on them
Just thought I would pass this on, as I know there are a fair few s on here that have bought RX8's for the coming season off certain german retailers on fleabay

Charlatanefc, Thanks for sharing. I did love mine on the Xscape slope, but that is not a proper hill. I hope the extra 2 stone and 10cm work as well as yours have done
