wow!
scary.
Brave guys.
Wish i could understand all the French.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

ALQ, thank you for posting one of the most remarkable films I've ever seen. Those guys - the rescuers, that is - are true heroes. And as for the photographer, who emerged from a crevasse after 24 hours in there, unhurt and seemingly perfectly cheerful... extraordinary. I recommend anyone who understands French reasonably well not to miss a moment of this film.
My desire to ski the Vallee Blanche is somewhat reduced after watching this, though.
Pedantica, The last 10 mins of part 2 was particularly sad....imagine the effect it has on the rescuers (or any emergency worker) to pick up bodies like that
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

ALQ, I've only watched the one you linked so far, ie Part 1, which was very uplifting. Didn't spot there was a Part 2. That'll have to wait.
Then you can post your own questions or snow reports...

Pedantica, you have to wonder why someone would wash once a month. Either be clean or embrace your smellyness
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

Part 2 watched, very sobering indeed. Again, all those who work in the rescue services come out as heroes, as angels almost, the most exceptional human beings.
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Bloody hell. They are indeed angels, as are most pisteurs; but these guys are something else.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

You know it makes sense.

8611, +1
Very good films and we need the part 2. Too often the reality is falsified by wanting only upbeat endings.
Rather personal for me since I was a casualty lifted off like that in January.
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

Part 2 awaits, but Part 1, just incredible bravery and heroism. A must watch for any snowhead.

Unfortunately the guide won't fall into the crevasse for you
