Nordica Hot Rod Eliminators Versus K2 Apache Crossfire
If anyone can help me with the above ski decision it would be much appreciated.
Which of the above all mountain ski's is the one for me, I am a competent imtermediate skier (maybe better, I'm not one of these people who over rates themselves - I've been skiing every year for the last 17 years, a season of this has been spent in Whistler), will ski anything on piste in control no problem and will have a go at anything that presents itself. I have only started venturing off piste of late and definately need to improve my skiing in this area.
I am a lighter skiier but am six foot 2 tall, i really feel i should be skiing on 162cms or 167cms rather than my rossignol rpm 170cms. Can anyone help with a ski for a tall slim light man who likes to ski quite aggresivley and fast.
I really really will appreciate the help.

Alpinebullit,
If you have skied that much, 17 years inc a season, you shouldn't be an intermediate by any defintion.
If you want go off piste more there are two ways to go, use a freeride to do it all reasonable well. or go Slalom ski and mid fat.
Skis to look at would be Nitrous top fuel, Stockli Stormrider and Dynastar 8000 for everything the mounatain has which is my preference or go for a slalom ski which will out perform them on piste and hire a fat ski for those off-piste excursions.
If you spend most of your time off-piste then I would go with the first option, if you like specialists ski and the hassle of humping skis around, do the latter. Or do as I do and hire whichever you want whenever you want and accept that you may not get your favourite ski everytime but can find new favourites from most resorts.

How heavy are you?
Demo the Atomic Metron M11 in both 162 & 172.

Not very heavy at all, I come in at between 9 and 10 stone, I do alot of running and can't put weight on no matter how much I eat. Seriously.
Thats why I feel I need to ski a shorter ski - any more ideas.
