When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi

I wonder if someone can help me with this. I'm an improver skier with 2 weeks plus a few lessons at a dry slope under my belt. Happy on most blues (maybe not the narrow steep ones, I'll snowplough those) and easy reds. I've been told my technique is good and I just need to work on my confidence!

Any thoughts on a 3 day( I can't justify a whole week just for myself, for work and childcare reasons) course? Happy to travel!

Try Easiski.com, Charlotte is a great teacher and specialises in confidence building. You could even do it as a summer hol in the mountains with the family if they are happy to let you out to ski in the morning on the Les 2 Alpes glacier then doing family stuff in the afternoon.
