Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
I was looking for an old piste map today and found a load of old ski passes from the last 10 years' holidays. Most of these will have a deposit on them, and as I have over 20, probably not a small amount in total. Does anyone know if I can get the money back on them after the season has ended? I seem to remember reading somewhere that the ticket offices will take any card back that operates on the same system - i.e. ski data. Is that right?
With such wealth of knowledge on here, I'm sure someone knows.
thanks
Nick

La Plagne stopped giving money back on them a couple of years ago.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just back from ADH, sure I saw a note that said you'd get 2 euros back if you return your pass, they look to recycle them.

Yes, I think most places give back money on them. Just wondering if they do it a couple of years later. I've noticed most passes have printing on them - dates etc. Do they have some way of erasing this so they can be used again? If they can wipe the resort logo as well then maybe they do give money back later.
Just curious...
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
