Low sales and increased costs have sent the banks running for cover. Looks bleak for Elan, and their clients are already looking for a new manufacturer for next season.

Shame because their race skis are good, probably need to concentrate on skis which they make for other manufacturers

AFAIK its only the snowboard factory in Austria thats belly-up - all the skis are made in the factory in Slovinia

I think Rome are already using a Taiwanese factory, don't know if this is related but from last year most rome boards were made in the Austria factory.
