Mosha Marc, the horror queue for for lift passes at the Le Chable lift.
We have annuals and as we approached the station I thought "Oh My God....we are going to be so late for our meet-up"
The queue was loooooong.
BUT...as always, zero wait at all for the lift...we walked straight on.
Our longest wait of the whole season in Le Chable has been the next-but-one cabin!

Mike Pow, start at top of Mt Fort is 3300, the bowl (glacier de Mt Fort) is around 3000m and the lake is around 2100m. Here's a map

rungsp, It looked a good 30 min queue so I drove up to Medran and got pass from there. Need to get one of those discount passes that bills your credit card automatically as you go through the first lift
