Le caveau and bartavel should be within 20m of your flat then! Neither expensive.

k1orange, we find Bartavel consistently good. Plat du jour often a delight.

Flambee? Up towards chambre neuf?
Actually, although menu somewhat limited, "Moo" does really quite splendid burgers and some other stuff. (Formerly Tiger, Tiger) opposite flambee on road from town to station.
