Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We're looking for up to 3 people to join a small group ski touring in the Silvretta region (Ischgl-Galtur) this year. There are 3 of us so far, 45-55, reasonably fit and good skiers. The trip is from 21 March to 28 March this year and will be a classic Silveretta Alps hut-hut tour from Ischgl to Galtur (along the Swiss/Austrian border). Focus is on lots of fresh tracks, powder skiing with some skinning (prob. no more than 3 hours in a given day), staying in pretty comfortable alpine huts/refuges on the way. The huts are generally at high altitude (2500-3000m), reached only by helicopter or skis, staffed, pretty comfortable (hot showers, warm fires) and provide half board accommodation- generally good food and wine and shared room/dormitory sleeping.
If you're interested you need to be a good off piste skier (able to handle all types of conditions), but touring experience is not necessary. This would be a good first tour for someone who has done a lot of off piste. Cost will be about £1000.
If you're interested, let me know.
