Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, looking for some advice. I have managed to squeeze and extra week in this year and I leave for Tignes with my brother in law in 2 weeks time
Despite 35 years of skiing I have never been to the Espace Killy
Skiing for us is all about the skiing, but we do enjoy a beer or 3 as we finish for the day. Looking for recommendations about bars that get lively around 5, happy hours would be great as would a bit of music (we are both the wrong side of 40, so would rather avoid Techno garage
)
We have a habit of finding a bar on the 1st day and then staying in it for the next 7 without realising there is a much better place 2 steps round the corner
)
I have done a search, but most threads suggest heading to Le Lac, would rather stay in Val Claret, its closer to stagger home .Cheers

Tignes is small so you will have no problem finding the happening bars. It has a bad rap for poor apres but there is apres there. Not like flaine where I just came back from. What a pity it has taken you 35 years to get here as the skiing is just fantastic.

Saloon bar does happy hour and is a good spot for straight off the piste. Also if there's some sport on you want to watch.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
