was there last year, lots of snow at Easter, and an awesome blue-bird run off the back of the Gemstock with our guides. Not a bad weekend away with the Tea Club.....
compared to some summer holidays on the Turkish/Eqyptian border, there was little evidence of military activity....

Went there for the day a few weeks ago, really enjoyed skiing Gemsstock and will go back again after a fresh dump of snow

The article says no major tour operators currently offer packages to Andermatt. I need to get there before they start.

Remember that Engelberg (which I've skied twice: can be spectacularly good) is not very far from Andermatt, so you can potentially do a spectacular two-resort off-piste-focused trip.

They are basically doubling the size of the village, and also building a golf course, which is why i have heard of it before At least they are trying to keep the buildings more 'swiss' looking than typical tower blocks.
