When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

how to do off-piste for decent price in Chamonix area ?

I'll go to Chamonix from 9/3 to 17/3 and I want to do some off-piste, I'll go with friend, and is too expensive for us to take private guide, so if there is a organized groups or something like this, and for accommodation I'm thinking to rent apartment, so also what is the best way to find accommodation ?

yariv_har, the best way to do off piste without breaking the bank is to stay at a UCPA centre where guiding/tuition and full board, and lift pass, is all included

if you are looking to rent an apartment that week will be expensive (French holidays) - you would find rents cheaper the following week.
