Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone tell me what's happened to all the old resort content on www.goski.com - it used to be a font of knowledge and experience for so many resorts over a good number of years - now they have an upgrade (or a buy-out??) and all the old content is gone?

how did this happen??
and where is the best place now to get consolidated resort reports?? (apart from here, of course snowHead )

doogo, thanks for drawing attention to that. Having had a brief look at what's happened you seem to be right.

I think we need to take a serious look into this. There were years of archived reviews in that site, which are arguably the copyright of those who wrote the reviews.

I've often pointed people to the excellent resort review content in GoSki.

David Goldsmith, I sent an e-mail to the automatic contact point on the website - asking for an explanation - no reply as yet - if i hear anything back, i'll post it here

Manda, i'm not saying that there is no info on resorts - just that the really good independent experiences of people over many years has been stripped out
