Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ANYONE NEED A LIFT TO GLENSHEE NEXT WEEK 11TH FEBRUARY OR 17TH FEBRUARY

I am thinking of going up to Glenshee for a couple or three days skiing in my motorhome next week commencing Monday 11th February or Sunday 17th February but need to share the fuel costs (approx. £300 from Portsmouth) Anyone from the UK interested? If so email me at roger.evans37@ntlworld.com. Normally I go with my daughter and grandchildren and we are all beginners but they are not able to go this year. Accommodation could be on the slopes in Motorhome if you have a sleeping bag or Spittal if there is space. Motorhome is 6-berth in 3 x doubles so is comfortable for 3 unless you are a couple! Only extra costs are lift passes and any food you need to bring. If the snow lasts we’ll go, if not we stay put but it is looking good at the moment – check out the Glenshee web cam. Roger.

Sounds like a fun trip but surely frpm portsmouth the better choice is ferry then on to the alps, can't be much in the mileage.

Thanks Corduroy, I might try and plan that for next year. Snow looks excellent at Glenshee at the moment so I'll probably stick with that if I can team up with a couple more Snowheads!

Let me know if you decide to do some skiing at Cairngorm & you want some company. We will be staying in Newtonmore & I'll be skiing at Cairngorm from the 21st to the 23rd.
