Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

How late do people leave it to book last minute?

Trying to book annual leave for either 9th March (preferable) or 6th April, in order to book a last minute holiday. There's only 2 of us, no children & not bothered on resort. We would want ski carriage though, so don't know if this is an issue with travelling last minute?

Last year we went last minute in February, but I caved in 10 days before the date & booked a holiday.... I was worried there would be nothing left given the excellent snow & the time of year.

For March, or April, how late would last-minuters leave it before booking?

If you want to travel from a regional airport I'd be ready to book asap!
If for example you can do "any London" and your really honestly not worried about resort/accom/ski area then there are always great bargains on the friday before travel on the sat/sun. Ski carriage could be an issue of course, having said that we have not had a problem with it the last four years.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It'd be Manchester preferably, but failing that Liverpool, or even Birmingham or Leeds if needed.
