Crikey have I got sore calves. All those T-bars...
More concerningly, I also had sore feet all weekend and have a fine crop of blisters on my right shin.
Boots: Tecnica Icons with Conformable liners foamed mid-last season. Socks: Barts (thin)
Questions:
1. Just how comfortable should foamed liners be? I have two main areas of concern - my "tailor's bunion" on each foot and pain around the front of my ankle where there seems to be "too much foam" (?)
2. My next trip is in 4 weeks - my plan is to start out with slightly better sock-related padding (I skied probably about 20 days on the foamed liners last year with no problems, but my feet had had about 35 days skiing in the months prior to getting them foamed).
Any other advice?
SmallZooKeeper, what are your thoughts? I probably won't be in Cham' till January at the earliest. Do you know anyone worth seeking out in Val D'Isere (that's my next trip, mid-December...)
Alternatively, I suppose I could go back to Profeet and have them tinker with them? Haven't had this much trouble since 1984...and there have been a few pairs of boots in between!

David Murdoch, I also have rather sore feet (a regular thing for me lately), and my inners are foamed. I think we all worked quite hard on the firm snow, and with no chairlifts, I suspect it's mainly lack of habit + lots of edging etc.
Helen Beaumont, You had an excuse though - your boots don't fit!!!

I would hope the guys at ProFeet, can sort this out. I'm finding difficult talking about stuff on the net. I just want to help you guys, but it's so difficult without your feet in my hands. In Val D, Precision have had some good and bad years. I hear the team last year were great, however i've also heard they have all, now, moved on. I hope i'm wrong, try there.
Otherwise i'll sort it for you in January. Good Luck.
