This is what's available in terms of crazeeHeads helmet covers:

Not sure about the lion head - is it meant to be a blindfold? I could see myself modelling one of the others though, in Chamonix Zoo.

I'd certainly like to stuff a fox - is there any chance of a fox head appearing in the range?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Slightly more serious I've always wondered if Resi Stiegler of the US team didn't lose a few hundredths of a second over a downhill when she wears this kind of gear in the World Cup...

On a serious note it is a good idea. Most kids I know consider helmets heavy, itchy, sweaty, and good only for throwing at your brother. Anything to make them trendyy or more acceptable has to be a good thing.

PG, Perhaps a more aerodynamic mouth position may also add another few hundreths?

Does anyone know when these things first appeared? I only ask as I already have a cow cover for my helmet (home made by a friend).

Good if it gets kids to wear a helmet though I recon that there are plenty of 11-14 year olds that wouldn't be seen dead wearing one of these.
Lots of kids don't wear helemts because 'dad/mum doesn't'. We need to see more adults wearing helmets and then kids would have fewer excuses.
Its likely that helemts will be compulsary for everyone at some point in the near future.
Although I've only been skiing a relatively short period of time the numbers of people wearing helmets seems to have grow greatly.

You know it makes sense.

Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

Small helmet attachments may be OK, but not large ones - there has been concern that the weight of a helmet may increase the risk of neck injury: adding a wolf's head could make this worse.
If you want to encourage kids to wear helmets, wear one yourself and get them one they think looks "cool". Rosie has skulls. Tom has flames.
