Poster: A snowHead

I'm 5ft 9" and weigh 90kgs. Haven't skied for about 10 years but its just like riding a bike. I was comfortable on blues and reds in the past. What size skis should I be requesting in the hire shop as its confusing as hell. I've got Salomon Quest 8 boots if that's any help. Also I love the speed factor Thanks in advance?????

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Skis have changed quite a bit, even in 10 years. I'd go to a hire shop and explain all that and you should get sensible advice. You might also find it quite handy to have a private lesson, maybe on your second day.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Also, if you don't get on with the first set of hire skis, go back and ask politely to change them. Try and avoid trying to collect when the shop is mobbed out. Go first thing in the morning, so you have a better choice of kit

A ski hire shop next door to a pie shop would be a good shout.
