Like I said in the other post if you want the easiest learning go to Hemel or MK, if you want the slope that will help you cope with less than perfect snow go with Tamworth!

Agreed; Tamworth is excellent once you've started progressing, as it's a tight slope much of the time and short, so you have to have your wits about you. MK is wide and great for learning as it's long too. Not been to Hemel.

Specialman, MK and Tamworth are both 170m long (though of course a bit shorter if you only went up to the snowboard 'nest' on the corner)

Always though it was a little shorter - the kink at the top at Tamworth definitely makes it feel shorter. You learn something new every day

It really depends what you want from your snowboarding. If it is the Friday night freestyle (which all three run) then Hemel has a very imaginative, constantly changing setup and there is a nice atmosphere there due in part to the old place being the home of the UK dryslope scene (back in the day, maaaaan). Tamworth was the original and some might say, still the best for real snow freestyle, but yes, the snow leaves a lot to be desired. It definitely has a more 'core' feel about it and the locals are super friendly towards anyone getting their shred on (despite them all being way better than us when we rocked up).
In the past Hemel have left the odd jump and rail set up for the remainder of the week if you are just there at a normal recreational session.
All soooooo expensive though!

Tamworth tend to leave a small jump or rail out after the freestyle nights as well

How do they measure the length at Tamworth? Having a dog-leg, the length is very different on left and right. I found to get any speed you needed to cut the corner. Why is it best for carving Cynic? Long time since I was there, though.
HH certainly has the best snow. MK has columns down the middle dividing the main slope in 2.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

snowball, Depends what you mean by the best snow, soft and fluffly certainly not Tamworth, best to set a new skier/boarder up to enjoy the blue icewall of death outside the hotel on the EoSB or similar and Tamworth wins hands down!

Braehead is the best overall (Hemel is the only one I haven't done)
