Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

VAL D'ISERE L'évacuation du télésiège de Fontaine Froide... de l'intérieur
Sometimes I think they just turn the lift back on and hope it works
Give it a bit of grease and oil and off it goes?
First week of the season in La Plagne last year there seemed to be an increase in the number of 'arretes technical'!
I wonder if the Lift co's are cutting back on out of season preventative maintenance.

, If you check the Val Thread there are some pics from Steve Angus. This is a brand new lift that opened on Saturday - so not just a case of a rub down with an oily rag. I wonder if the technician who authorised the public opening is still in a job?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, Hmm new lifts always seem troublesome the Bergerie in La Plagne had much the same problems...

Good job it was yesterday when the weather was relatively benign - it was vicious this morning - and looks like all but the 'village' lifts have now closed due to wind.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

120 sH hit EK, last year, and the cable car needed to be evacuated, as we were getting the bus back to GVA.
120 sH hit EK, this year, and a chairlift needed to be evacuated (and another kept stopping a lot, with me being stuck on it for 10mins, with 10mins before a lesson).
Which lift will be sabotaged next year?
