Anyone got any suggestions for accommodation in Morzine/Avoriaz for 1 or 2 nights for opening weekend?
Any help appreciated.... the snow is calling me!

MoodyFFS, have a look at the Solutions Room at Chalets Direct and put in what you need - you are bound to get replies.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Pamski, brilliant! Thanks!
sarah, what's the transfer like from Geneva? Longer or shorter than Morzine?

MoodyFFS, Don't think there's much in it at all. Pamski's right Chalets Direct is your friend for something like this, chances are Le Renard will respond to you on there anyway.

sarah, do you recommend Le Renard? It's on my short list after a ChaletsDirect post but just a little bit concerned getting up to Avoriaz from Chatel is a bit of a trek, and Chatel is a bit sleepy. I may be wrong.

brianr, not stayed there but been very tempted. Only not stayed because we've always been with others who have chosen a different place of the options we have had. The owner always replies really promptly and politely, the hotel looks really nice and the restaurant too, it's well placed in Chatel I think and quite close to a bus stop. We always drove up to Pre la Joux and started from there, found it easy enough to get up to Avoriaz from there. But there are others on here who know the area far better than me and could advise you more.
