Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone used Rental Republic and what is your opinion of their service and equipment? They are not the cheapest but with the vouchers they are better than competitive. I am tempted to try them but would appreciate some opinions on their service.

We recommend them for our guests and have always found them to be pretty helpful. Booking is really easy because it's all done online. You can to text to let them know when you arrive in France but then then come to your apt/chalet to fit the gear. Then they come and pick it up at the end too.
The thing we particularly like is that if you have any probs you can text/call them and they will come and change stuff for you. So, if the boots feel comfy when you first try them but you don't think that they are right after the first day then they'll come and change them for another pair for free.

Thanks for the replys. I have booked my skis now. £49 for the week including the cost of the voucher. I do not ski often enough to be a good judge of skies...... As long as they are well maintained and not clapped out I am happy.
