Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

some advice pls.....
I currently ski on a Head Peak 76 163cm (2010) but i want to upogarde to something a bit better on the groomers, last year I tried my friends Head Chip 71(163cm) and found them great for relaxed cruising but when you push them in a bit of fast Super G they respond well (seem to stiffen up). I've decided to fork out for a pair but I can only get a great deal(euro 400) on the 170cm but there is no offer on the 163cm(euro 695)!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?????
I'm 5'11 but only 66kg - ski everything (and a bit of off piste). i'd guess i'm and upper intermediate /advanced skier.
thx
Jamie

british-
, 170cm will give you greater stability at speed and should be fine for your ht/wt. It isn't all about wt, but also long levers!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm chiming in a bit late here
british-
, but I'm 5'10" and 64 kg.
I use the HEAD iSupershape Speed 163 cm, 115-68-99, radius 13.3. I love them on piste and in a few centimetres of soft snow, but on the few occasions I've done some slopeside offpiste with them they felt too short and narrow to be fun.
Unfortunately I haven't tested any HEAD skis in the 170 cm size.
Did you buy them?
