Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am going away for a week in Tignes. I am going to take my boots, helmet, and usual stuff for a weeks skiing. I don't have my own skis.
But the question is what size bag should I take? this bag needs to take all of this and go into the hold of the aeroplane.
I have seen a nice looking bag
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Snugpak-Roller-Kit-Monster-Black/dp/B007CZM1OO/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1354308104&sr=8-12&tag=amz07b-21
This is 65L, I don't know if this is too small....any tips?
They do a 120L bag, but this seems quite large. Also does anyone know if the bag is any good? I cannot find a proper review of it.
Thanks for any response.

120L is huge for a week's skiing; 65L just about right. I've used one of these
http://www.snowandrock.com/snow+rock-weekender-bag/travel-bags/ski-snowboard-outdoor-sports/fcp-product/29629
for years because it has separate boot sections. It's in-between the two at 82L but if completely full is always around 30kg including ski boots, only around two-thirds full if having to stay within 20kg.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

bigger the better you dont need to fill it all up. i always use a north face duffel bag in xl think its 155L never filled it completely but im quite lazy when it comes to packing and love to just open the bag throw everything in and zip it shut. nothing worse than trying to pack everything neat and orderly to get it in a bag thats too tight. those bags look robust enough for going through airports and on and off coaches but i would get the 120L.

well i bought a head heated boot bag from a well publicised online retailer. I have tested and i can confirm i can get.
1 pair of atomic ski boots
1 full ski jacket (not a shell)
2 pairs of ski pants ( trousers not full sallopettes)
4 light long sleeve tops
7 t shirts
8 pairs of ski socks
8 pairs of boxer shorts
2 pairs of jeans
1 pair of shoes
1 pair of trainers
2 pairs of ski gloves
1 pair of goggles
with space to spare......
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Would you care to tell which boot bag? Also is this suitable to be used for luggage in the aeroplane?
