Poster: A snowHead
|
Hey,
So I got a few pairs of skis at a sale, and they're lacking bindings. I'm just curious if someone could help me with what brands fit which skis. I'm a racer, currently racing on the Master circuit, so they're either this year or last year's race ski. I have a pair of SL Heads, and WC Fischer GS. I have a pair of Atomic, Marker, and Rossi bindings. I was just curious if any of them can fit the skis. Or even generally what I should be looking to be able to use (besides the obvious Fischer/Tyrolia) Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Err - you may want to give some stats with the names - like binding width/model, ski widths/lengths/year/model - that sort of thing. Otherwise I would suggest you look on the ski manufacturers websites and see what they recommend - often they will build the skis with a particualr binding or manufacturer in mind, There's also a check list floating around stating which bindings are still supported by the manufacturers and thus the majority of techs - it might be wise to consult that as well.
Welcome to the 'Heads and be careful - some of them bite, mainly the 'boarders.

mcag, My oldest pair of Fischer WC skis came with a leaflet that listed which bindings were recommended, you could use Tyrolia, Salomon, Marker and Atomic race bindings with the race plate.
Old Rossi turntables wouldn't work with my boot size but I have seen other people using them.
