From my perspective it's cowdoo - a ski resort that's not needed. Panorama,Kicking Horse and Revelstoke are hardly at over capacity yet mainly due to the key factor which is they'll never capture the mass international (including US) market because they are too far from major airports.

Sounds more like the launch of a property developer project than a new ski area...
But, the guy behind it seems to be the same guy who did Kicking Horse, and when you consider that the glaciers will offer a year-round ski resort it could be a workable model - not much summer skiing available and summer sees more tourist visitors to the area than winter...
