slikedges, I believe that they are "Intersports" own brand. No idea who makes them or at what quality point. If the kids involved are young/just starting out/etc. I would imagine they'd be fine...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

As David Murdoch says, I think they are something to do with Intersport. The Intersport website is the only place I've seen them mentioned (til now). Of the 3 hire categories (gold, silver, bronze) they were one of the skis listed in the lowest. I don't know how many different models they produce.

Tecno Pro are normally a cheaper alternative to the major brands but can be very good value for money - they make a lot more than skis.
Here is a test of one of their skis (in German)
http://www.testberichte.de/preisvergleich/level4_skimagazin_3663.html
.... not the best ski in the test but "best price / performance" winner.
Probably akin to buying a Ford instead of a BMW.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It is indeed an Intersport house brand and I think the manufacturing varies from sports to another. I thought they'd cooperate with Amer which would make skis Atomic and tennis rackets, for example, Wilsons... I really do not know for sure of the manufacturing side for sure though.

Thanks everyone!
Their kids' skis are for sale on lots and lots of German online shops and at very reasonable prices even for the not-absolute-beginner model, however once postage is included, probably not a huge saving over buying Head Teams at Lockwoods, for instance!

It is an Intersport brand, ELAN makes them and they are of good quality at the price you pay for them.. in Slovenia you can get men tecno pro skis with rocker technology for as little as 160 euros this month with bindings included in the price (144 euros if you have a tuesdays coupon).. the models should all be posted on Intersport web page or a catalogue you can get for free in any Intersport store
new children xt tecno pro skis have rocker technology and the longest length 150cm goes for 110 euros here in Slovenia sorry but I really dont know prices in other countries but can be found on the webpage
for majority of recreational skiers i think rocker is a big hit it really depends on your style and everything of course, but from better skiers i hear theyre not a fan of this technology but its different from person to person
edit: i didnt notice this was actually asked 6 years ago lol oh well..
