Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have booked the singles week in Chamonix, from 22nd - 29th December, with Action Outdoors and wondered if anyone else has booked onto the same trip?

If you're travelling solo, it's the best way of socialising Smile

If you DO decide to do that same week in Cham, there is a twin room option.. Of you're happy with that, I'd be willing to chip in for the twin supplement. then it's just one 'stranger' you're sharing with Smile

You'd need to get in quick for the twin rooms - they sell out fast and this is a busy week (especially with Argentiere closed for the season). Worth checking with A-O if they still have availability for twins before booking. Use SP2010 discount code for a small discount too.

Sorry feef, apparently you have to click the apply discount link under the price in the first stages of booking... thanks for the feedback though - will be useful to other SHs. Maybe drop Mary a note in the office and ask if she can apply the discount anyway.

Not the most intuitive Smile

I was expecting to see the discount option as a box on the final payment form as that's where it usually is on online checkout systems.

Can you remind me what the discount is worth?

There was also an issue, when I was booking, that it wouldn't let me book due to my age, despite me being within the age range. When I called, I was told to just make myself a year younger, which I did, and it worked. I suspect the application code is doing a < comparison rather than <= Wink

I am booked on this week too. Looks good and great value. £650 with discount code, thanks Scampi Dellahanti, cant believ that cover everything - snow bus return from London Victoria, bed, meals, lessons, ski pass and hire and insurance!
