Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Ski or lift down to Champagny-en-Vanoise then a taxi to La Praz.
I think there are buses but they may not be convenient.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The altibus website is not suited to inter resort transfers - I woud go to the gare routiere in La P and ask. May be a lot of hanging around in Moutiers you may even have to do Aime to Moutiers by train,

cagey, Just how long are you planning to stay in the Paradiski area for? There is plenty of skiing in Les Arcs for a couple of weeks never mind adding La Plagne.
Depending on where you are staying it is probably easier to get the funicular down to Bourg then the, what used to be free, shuttle bus to La Rossiere than go over to Courchevel.

You'll need to Register first of course.

I see why you are looking for other options. May I suggest making full use of the funicular to Bourg and from there La Rossiere (and La Thule for lunch), st Foy and of course espace Killy.
I am jealous

I would second that - ski to Champagny and get a lift to Bozel. There is a big roundabout there and you can get a lift to Courchevel or Meribel or catch the bus coming up from Moutiers.
Hitch hiking is pretty easy in France, just make sure that you are standing somewhere easy to pull over...
Other option is to get a lift with a chalet company when they do their weekly shopping down to the bottom and try to get a bus from there...

cagey, if you send me a PM, some of us often go over to 3 valleys for a ski. Let me know what standard you are as we have different days for different ability levels. Sometimes we just cruise around, other times we try to do as much off piste as possible. Just a bunch a friends that are out for the season. Hope to see you, if only for a drink. Where are you based?
