Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Buying kit, where's cheapest?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've been into Ellis Brigham and sussed out what kit I want, I just don't want to pay that much for it all. They have said that they will price match if it's a proper shop. So that could be an option.
I'm after some Nike Vapen boots, Union Contact or Burton Custom bindings and a Nidecker Score board. Is there an online shop that offers any/all of these cheaper than EB? I also need some other bits like a board bag and crash pants. If I can get it all cheap enough, then I want to kit the Mrs out too.
Any help would be appreciated! snowHead

If you've got a really particular idea of what you want, your choices will naturally be more limited e.g. not sure how much UK market there is for Nidecker decks. I think you'll have a hard time finding many of them on sale domestically (they're 2 a penny on the mainland though).

A good first port of call in any case to do a Google 'Shopping' search on the things you want.

As another starting point, Granite Reef have a sale on at the moment. I've used them. They're good.

Robin Hood Watersports also have quite a bit of clearance stock. I've used them too.

Head over to SCUK (Snowboard Club UK), sign up for a years membership (£15 IIRC) and you can get a discount at quite a few places (they're listed on the SCUK website) including some of the smaller indy shops as well as TSA.

Have a look at absolute-snow.co.uk
Bought some stuff through them before and they're pretty good if you're on a budget.

You'll need to Register first of course.

If it's all current-season kit you want, then you're unlikely to find any significant discounts.

bluetomato.com normally have sales and discounts and would probably have most of what you want, everything apart from the board would be available much cheaper across the pond, set up a shop and ship account and it gets delivered fast and cheaply as well

Oooh, that could be an option. Not heard of that SnS service before, cheers. My wife won't like you, but my credit card will! Little Angel

SS20 is 40% off Forum boards an boots from 11/12 season you probably could cut a deal if so inclined on a large purchase .

I have some gear you mentioned to shift, PM for a ph number if good used gear is a option although its alot easier to just buy new with a onestop shop and get it delivered.
