Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Disability Snowsport UK are looking for a Trainee Adaptive Instructor for the winter season at their Cairngorms Ski School in Scotland.
The position is full time from the begining of January through to the end of March and is based on Cairngorm Mountain though there will be an opportunity to travel abroad with one of the DSUK Activity weeks at least once during the season.
No previous Adaptive Skiing experience is necessary, but an interest and enthusiasm to learn all things Adaptive are key. We would expect any successful candidate to take (and pass - no pressure!) their BASI Adaptive L2 at the end of the season. Ideally you will already hold your BASI Alpine L2 (or similar) and have at least one season of experience of working in a mountain environment. However, under the right circumstances, a less qualified instructor will be considered.
You should also hold a valid First Aid Certificate and a current Enhanced Disclosure.
Salary dependent on existing level of qualification.
If you are interested in applying for this position, the please send an email with your current CV and covering letter to
admin@disabilitysnowsport.org.uk
I look forward to hearing from you.
James Redpath
