Poster: A snowHead

Flying Swissair departing Zurich at 15.20 on 2nd February arriving in Heathrow Terminal 1 at 16.05 UK time and then transferring to Terminal 5 for connecting to flight to Glasgow on BA departing 19.05.
In the opinion of those more acquainted with Heathrow is this do-able bearing in mind the terminal transfer with luggage including skis and presuming that Swissair and BA cant book luggage through?
Any help or advice would be appreciated?

It should be fine, although as usual it all depends. Buy both segments on one ticket, so if they accept the booking then the airline is responsible if they delay you.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That shouldn't be a problem.

Easy. Your luggage will be checked through all the way to Glasgow. I'd say 90 minutes would be about the minimum so you have plenty of time.

I'd say it should be okay - BA only require a 45 minute check in for domestic flights IIRC

Fine as long as no big delays on first leg. As said, I'd book both on same ticket.
