Poster: A snowHead

Next Season we may be in a positional to enter into a seasonal long apartment rental. We would prefer EK or 3V.
I have been looking at websites recently but can't seem to find what I am looking for. Can anyone direct me to a website that do season long rentals please?

Now another question please, directed at all you lucky people who either spend your winters in the alps or live there all year round.
Is it better to live in resort or down the mountain, ie, Bourg or Les Arcs, Meribel or Brides? I realise a winter in the alps is different to a week here or there and so we want to get the best out of the experience.

NE1, I do my winters in Chamonix which manages to be both a resort and a proper town.

NE1,
In my opinion, if you are planning on doing only one season and returning to the UK at the end of it, I would recommend living in resort.
There are a few frustrations - smaller, more expensive supermarkets eg - but the atmosphere and the chance to ski from close by for 5 months are a one-off experience.
If you are thinking that you might want to live/buy/move to the area then down the valley all the time - the resorts are completely empty inter-season and most people who are based here year-round and permenant live down the valley.
Happy planning!

Just me again.
In your opinion, at what point in the calendar should I start trying to secure a property?

In general terms for the 2013/14 season the widest range and best cost apartments will be available for booking from Feb 2013 and be sold by March 2013!
Then you'll be left with slightly more expensive ones.
