Went a few years ago and stayed at a place right down by the car park. This was a mistake as they ploughed it at like 4:30am most mornings and it was very loud
There is a snowhead with a condo there that looked really nice.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We've usually done DIY and booked direct with condo owners. But if you want to use a tour operator Frontier are good. What sort of accomodation are you looking for hotel, condo, B&B? How many people? What sort of price level?
I can confirm that uktrailmonster's condo there is very nice!

silverback, we organised our own, booked a condo via VRBO and stayed at Solitude. If you have kids (who need lessons), I can highly recommend the ski school.

Don't stay in Ptarmigan we did last year its was the worst place we have stayed in Canada in 15yrs of visiting. Close to the shops and slopes but not ski ski out. Very dated no internet no lift the tv would not work (so no snow reports no weather etc)we were on the 4th floor. Any thing slope side can be noisy when they flatten the run outside, White crystal inn is ok if you get a superior room, but they drive the piste bashers past it 2-3 times each night. We are staying in Grissly Lodge in feb no superior rooms for 4 left for the night s we wanted at White Crystal. We stayed down in Kelowna the first time we went, its to far it took over 1hr 30 mins when the weather was good but in snow and fog it was over 2 hrs each way.
We booked with the resort they had a "72 hr sale" in december so got 30% off . We have used both ownerdirect and allura for other Canadian resorts both have been great.

I was there last season and we stayed in the white foot lodge which was right in the village. Very basic but had all the mod cons and great location. It was booked via a friend in NZ, so not much use for you. You can get some pretty good deals with Big White directly, ie stay 5 nights and 2 free etc. Have a look on the web site for deals. Be aware that once you are up the hill it is a long way down to Kelowna - if you are going to do some of your own cooking I HIGHLY recommend stopping off in town before you head up and do a big shop as the prices in the little shop at big white just take the p**s!! and the range is very limited. As mentioned above you can book directly with condo owners and the prices are pretty reasonable although all the good deals might be taken by now. We booked privately at Silver Star and the place was cheaper and much better than the accom at BW. Have fun!

Looking for any type of accommodation really as most of it including hotels seem to be on a room only basis, there are four of us so would want 2 separate bedrooms not a sofa bed in the living area. price wise....well as little as poss !! (ha ha ) just had a price for 14 nights including flights transfers and lift passes for about £1600 pp staying at the whitefoot lodge. Definitely want to be in center of village. want to book it for about 9th or 10th March for 14 nights or thereabouts.

Okanagan, Thanks for the recommendation, much appreciated.
silverback, If you need any impartial advice on Big White, please feel free to PM me. We will be there from 24th Feb until 22nd March. The accommodation in Big White is generally excellent, providing you stay away from some of the older buildings (like the Ptarmigan mentioned above). There has been a lot of new development in the last 10 years and the vast majority of the newer condos built in this period are superb. But to some extent, as always, you do get what you pay for. IMHO it's worth paying a bit extra for the premium condos in Big White as part of the overall experience.
