Hi there, has anyone used this company before? They have some decent deals on their site and I just wanted to ensure they were ok to use before proceeding
Thanks

Blindly 160+ views and no one has any comment to make, not sure if this is good or bad?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Was curious what kind of company they are.
No experience with them, hence no comment.

Bottom of the front web page, read the disclaimer, no ABTA or ITOL badges or license numbers. Looks like the company head office is the annex of a house. Always beware of your legal protection when companies go into receivership/administration as Takemetoski did last year and affected a number of snowheads including me. However personally never used the company and the best recommendation is always a previous customer.

mushywill, Why do you need to use a 'booking agency' in the days of the internet? I'm sure it's still valid for those people who haven't a clue about whether cham is great for kids or whether valmorel has kicking apres, but with a decent guide book (e.g. WTSS) and the ability to google then why bother?
Whilst it looks like they've been around for 10 years, there website looks at least 5 years out of date and if you read their t's and c's http://www.thesnowco.com/Terms.asp they're pretty much exonerating themselves from any responsibility for service delivery whatsoever. That may well be normal for booking agencies, but if you're turning up in a foreign resort at 7pm, have made a booking for friend or family, I'd much rather have paid my money to the accommodation provide than some random booking company. Having said that I have just chucked some bloke called admin a few shillings for some mythical trip to the dolomites
Also on a very unscientific survey of one week in jan in a single self-catering appts, I was able to find better pricing going direct to the accommodation provider than through snowco
Still you pays yer monet and takes yer pick

I'd be very cautious about commissioning Monet to do any work nowadays. He's been quite unreliable of late.
