Les Arcs too, as this photo from early today shows. Doesn't make a difference to how good the winter will be, but nice to see nevertheless. Assuming that the glacier in Tignes will have had a top up of fresh, which is more relevant for anyone doing some pre-season skiing.

Okay I admit it, I have now started waiting for the 2012/2013 Weather outlook thread to get into full flow and I am also looking at webcams every couple of days. Haven't resorted to getting the ski gear out and trying it all on just yet, but it won't be long, well 150 days to be exact.....
And yes I know current conditions do not gurantee any snow in Feb...

Goodness knows it needs it. Here's the Col de l'Iseran viewed from the south just a couple of weeks ago. What remains of the Val d'Isere glacier is that little patch of white on the right.
