Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The feature linked below has an impressive air of authenticity about it, though the author finds precious little work to justify the skiing! After a bizarre mix of employment in Mayrhofen (milkman, then 'pool guy'), outright rejection in Davos and a horrendous night of sleeping rough in Chamonix, the journey ends on a high note: a "7000ft descent" of the glaciers and couloirs of La Grave.

On his ski bum's tour of the Alps, 'Eric' (somehow his full name is blanked from the article) cuts some cracking humour into his story in All or Nothing on the US 'Ski' magazine site.
