Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Been to Olympia a few times and Earls court last year. Also went to the NEC show last year and was so dissapointed with it. iam glad i had free tickets as it would have not been value for money. Smaller by far compared to the London ones and i don't know. Scruffy and or disorganised.

Slightly off topic but I understand that S & R are not at Earls Court this year. That will leave a very big hole in the middle of the show. Toofy Grin

Yes Jerby, i've been to the london one before and thought it was good - but now living in a different part of the country and not sure i can justify the trip to london - but if the NEC had free tickets or cheap i'd be more than happy to go!

If you are a member of a ski club affiliated to Snowsport England then for the past few years you've been able to get VIP tickets free through your club. I'd be surprised if that wasn't the case this year too.

Cheap tickets/free tickets to enter perhaps but the NEC likes to charge a handsome price for the car parking. Last time I was there I think it was £8 so it wasn't quite as cheap as I thought holding "free" tickets!

I think the London show is poles apart from the NEC show, for me the NEC is more about selling off last years gear together with a few tour operators. Shame more companies don't use the shows to showcase their latest gear.

Park in the station car park instead. £5/day on the weekend.

And I hate to think what the price is for parking anywhere near Earls Court!

Did London last year as got free tickets and had never been, met some mates from some old seasons so had a good day...otherwise don't think there is much between B'ham (been on and off over the last ten years) and London. Just a case of which you are closer!

Regards to Birmingham parking, a train in from Cannock or Walsall will cost around a fiver (at off-peak)...defo less than £8 and then you can have a beer or two, which is what the shows are all about aren't they? Puzzled

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

£20 for earls court to get in?? yikes, we wont be going this year as it seems the 'stands' are down and basically to pay to go shopping is a bit much!! i know they have displays but the standard at the NEC show is much higher, and the chance to listen to someone talking in text speak is not worth the money Cool and as for the 'fashion show' .................

So, really only any good for Billy no mates types who would otherwise be travelling to, and parking at, the NEC alone? Toofy Grin

Just thought as i was going to be in the area might be worth popping in as the Mrs needs kitting out a bit, and travel to and from london, plus entry charge makes to expensive to justify the trip.
