And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Very good.
Challenging, and lower pass rate than she expected, though she did comment that a few people were clearly not at the level from day 1.
Everything well organised. Clear feedback, and constructive criticism.
She feels ready to begin to teach...and that is what it is all about.
One odd thing that all the candidates noticed:
Week 1 the hotel staff were really friendly towards all BASI candidates.
Week 2 hotel staff really cool towards all BASI candidates.
They were all really puzzled, there had been no incidents, nobody knew why such a clear change of attitude had happened

rungsp, congrats to her, I hope she puts it all to good use.

Austria and sniffy staff? Well, first of all she should fall to her knees in gratitude for a week of positive attitude - I've never experienced that in Austria. Second - the answer to your question is tipping (,not enough of). Simple, really.

Fifespud, no, BASI 12 day L2 course and exams.
Don't think Warren goes to Hintertux (he is a Saas Fee man in the summer) and she certainly would not be spending £6,000 plus on a "Gap" course!
