Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Best ski school for beginners in Plagne Soleil

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

It's almost ski season!!!! Well almost Smile

We're staying in Plagne Soleil in January and there are 3 in our party who are total beginners.
2 want to learn to ski and 1 to snowboard.

I always had ESF lessons and it didnt do me any harm Smile but has anyone had a good experience with ski/snowboard school there?

Ideally with a meet in Plagne Soleil so they dont have to travel far in the morning.

I'm assuming as well they won't need to buy a lift pass until they get a nod from their instructor?

cheers
Laura

lauralime, ESF has a base in Soleil. There is also a minibus pick service operated by http://www.oxygene-ski.com/la-plagne-ski-and-snowboard-school.htm

Hi lauralime,

The only ski school based in Plagne Soleil is ESF who offer standard group ski and board lessons.

For a more bespoke choice, go for Oxygene (above) or Reflex (http://www.reflex-skischool.com/accueil_en.html) who, as boredsurfin, says offer a pick-up service for beginners.

Have a look at the packages they offer - most have the option of a significantly reduced 6 day beginners pass when you book the lessons.

Happy planning!
Heather
