Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'd not heard of Stanley Fink until this morning, but he's worth a bob or two - £75 million, in fact - and has built a luxury hotel in Courchevel 1850 called Kilimandjaro.

Stanley Fink is in the news this week because his company - Man Group plc - described by the Guardian as "the most phenomenal money machine the City has seen for decades" and "the world's largest hedge fund company" by Bloomberg - is in difficulties.

Net sales have just slumped 50% in a quarter because clients withdrew funds, so you may find Stanley drowning a few sorrows in his own bar - Stanley's - up at Courchevel this winter.

Buy the poor man a drink, or stay in one of his luxury private chalets in the hotel complex - 6150 Euros (butler included).
