Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skis storage St Anton

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I wonder if anyone knows a tame, yet secure location for skis storage in St Anton? We'll be there with friends in late December and back in February and rather than messing about lugging 6 pairs of skis back and forth UK/ Austria just wondered if on the off-chance anyone knew a storage solution in resort??

We dont want to start storing in ski-depots etc, its mad expensive for 6 weeks storage, thinking more about a reliable local who maybe does this sort of thing on a low-key basis for a small fee?

Would appreciate any feedback, if anyone has come across this. PM me if you prefer.

Cheers

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Maybe talk to the people where you're staying on your second visit and I am sure they would look after them till you return. Pretty friendly lot in Anton. Alternatively bribe a chalet host they always could do with some extra money.

The Powder White hosts let me leave a pair of skis for a couple of weeks in St Anton once, doubt the same ones will be working there now though. I'm sure most hosts would look after them for a crate of beer or two, likely the place where you stay will happily keep them in a cupboard or something too. If you get really stuck and are flying to/from Innsbruck could probably sort something out too.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the advice, have sent a couple of emails and we'll see how we get on. We're over there end August mountainbiking so will have an ask about too.
